Big excellent value hotel with an amazing and lovely location next to Hobart on the hottest recorded day in Tasmanian history, a farm and Richmond, Hobart and airport. Attentive and knowledgeable staff, early check in. Fantastic bar area. Relaxing stay, as always.

Loved the Decor and the comfort, the relaxing location. Very thoughtfully and stylishly presented. We loved it.

It was an awesome stay at Riversdale Estate. The first night was put up in Oxford & Cambridge. The scenary was breathtaking with the vineyard, clear sky, mountain, lake infront of us. Our family of 7 were shifted to the cottage for another 4 night stay. The cottage is very well furnished... cosy living room with fire-place, looking out from the living room was the farm, kitchen with proper cutlery, utensils etc. I must thanks Wendy to share that we can picked oyster from a nearby beach. This is going to be an unforgettable memory to my family.

Nothing particular. But I would suggest the the toilet can be latched. It's quite awkward for Asian to leave the toilet door unlock.

Beautiful setting, quiet, new. Easy access to aorport and the City. Lots of books and magazines. Would love to come again if little niggly things could be sorted. See 'what I didn't like'.

Overall cleanliess was a problem which meant on arrival at 11pm, I had to vacuum!. No hooks to hang bathrobes, jackets etc in any room. No room to hang more than one towel in bath room. No cupboard, shelves or hooks in 2nd bedroom. Only bottles of wine in bar fridge and no bottled water. No nibbles as per list provided. A couple of the uht milks were out of use by date. Only a single cup coffee plunger ( not sufficient for 2). Torch did not work ( needed for night time loo visits). One more soap would have been nice for the shower.Little house work and maintenace things like cleaning the black board, making sure all the window winders worked, cleaning the sink and basin properly etc ( I cleaned both with supplied Ajax) a 'welcome' folder with local resturants, whats on in Hobart etc would have been helpful.

This place had great staff, spacious rooms with single beds, and was conveniently located near a French bistro that was open during our stay.

Absolutely beautiful scenic location and pretty cottages with lovely verandahs. Close to the city and yet we felt miles away.

The water was delicious. The views spectacular. The distance to Hobart short enough. Friendly owners. The cottage was overall very comfortable and the kitchen very useable.

No useable mirror in bathroom. No hooks nor rail to put one's clothes in bathroom. The small bedroom had no place for a suitcase but the floor. The replacement beds for the ones taken out were narrow twin beds (rather than half a king each) and were way too soft; no back support.

We loved the beautiful view of the vineyard and waterfront from our cottage. The location of this hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the airport and also in between the vineyard. The hotel facilities were great, and the staff provided exceptional customer service. Parking was never an issue.

    Almost perfect.
